Synopsis
"The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye, the story of love is hello and goodbye." - Jimi Hendrix
I live in the shelter of darkness.
This darkness holds a secret over me… one that I have come to protect and in return it controls and holds me back.
It’s time to start fighting against it and break free. To become the unrestricted woman I yearn to be. For this to happen it will take a sixteen hundred mile road trip to let go of all that I fear and hopefully discover that the darkness doesn't lurk everywhere. I stand on the edge overlooking a horizon of possibilities for the first time. Will I let my heart drive… to where it needs to be?
A unique romantic tale of one girl, one road, and a chance meeting with someone that will change everything in every way.
Disclaimer - This book is intended for mature audiences only.

Let Your Heart Drive is available for pre-order!
*Dances around madly* I am proud to announce my tenth novel which will be published this June. June 1, 2015 will be the release date, but you are able to pre-order it now!
Just click the Amazon logo and you're there!
As some of you may know this is my very first contemporary romance and I'm extremely excited about sharing this story with you. At least two years this couple (Sinead and Trey) have lingered with me and I have to say it was a bit difficult for me to write at first, only because I itched to write in a dash of paranormal or a pinch of supernatural. Believe me I felt the sudden urge to drop an Easter egg or two in the story and...maybe I did. Now this is a standalone novel and a HEA. I hope my readers will enjoy it and if so, tell a friend or your dearest book buddy. <3
Next - I want to announce my Crescent Bound Box set is out, yes, you can now have the entire Bound series in one! Book one through five - Crescent Bound (which is Free!) Raven Bound, Demon Bound, Shadow Bound, and Ice Bound all complied together to make the set complete.
Since you're here I want to let you in on a little secret, May 5th through May 7th I will have the Crescent Bound Box set on sale! So, be sure to mark your calendars.
I hope everyone has a phenomenal week and weekend. I am off to prepare Let Your Heart Drive in paperback and decide which story I will conquer next!

I hope you enjoy and feel free to follow me over on rushbound (my other blog) to keep up with the next installment for The House.
I’m racing around trying desperately to suppress all the other characters; mainly Mattie and Graham in book 2 in the No Death for the Wicked series and Selene and Sirius in book 2 in the Veil Realms series. I’m still trying to flush out the nitty-gritty details on the side as I focus completely on my current WIP. Let Your Heart Drive finally has an official cover thanks to a public vote of two to one. I really struggled with this simply because I already purchased and designed this cover over a year ago, but as I was strolling one day through the stock footage on Shutterstock I fell in love with another cover pic I recently posted. It spoke volumes to me and it matched the vision of Sinead I have of her perfectly. The book is about one girl’s journey and her silent struggles through life, through her own personal issues and her breaking free to possibly find love again. I debated with my husband over which cover to use and eventually I posted the dilemma on Facebook and the voting began.
So here’s the cover….

What's up with Rush...
My target next month is… bury myself in a novel I have talked about writing for far too long. Let Your Heart Drive. It will be my very first contemporary romance, ever. And I’m pretty stoked about it, I’ve had the characters tolerantly wandering in the corners of my mind for over a year now.
It’s time.
I live in the shelter of darkness.

Now, I have two more stories in the works Midnight (Book 2 from the No Death for the Wicked series) and here’s the final cover for it.
I’ll have the official blurb for it soon.
Next is Citeron (book 2 in the Veil Realm series)
As you can probably tell I’m not one to hold back on cover reveals. I
usually make my covers and use them as inspirations while I write. I’ll
keep you posted as progress is made on each book and since I’m on a roll
here I’ll let you in on another project that I consider close to my
heart. I’ve been asked to join another anthology MSoS (Military Spouses
of Strength) and all proceeds will go toward the cause. Here’s their
video…
The story I’m contributing is titled Mary Jane it’s the
second part to The House which I started writing on my other blog which is
rushbound. It is a ‘short’ tale and once it’s published I will announce
it. So hold tight, there should be some adventures with vampires, races
from other planets, and the unusual boy meets girl very soon.

Well I certainly hope it will be a treat...
As I have promised - Ice Bound the fifth and final installment for the Crescent Bound series is now live on Amazon!

Marcus Colten is living the perfect life, high school football star and dating the head cheerleader. He is popular, skilled in athletics and from a wealthy family. The football team he quarterbacks for just won their first district championship.
Marc doesn't show it, but he is being haunted. Orphaned at the early age of two, he has ghostly memories of a past that makes his flawless model life feel out of place. And then there are the illusive dreams. Visions of someone that relentlessly possess his nights. What does it all mean? Where will it all lead? This time, he’s not the one that is at the top of the game.
I truly hope you will enjoy Ice Bound, I have discovered so much through this amazing excursion. From writing, rewriting, editing, revising to discovering and respecting the ways of the witch community. I've always had a fascination with witches, and I don't think that fondness will ever leave me. I bet you could guess what I plan on dressing up for this All Hallow's Eve. So, while you're out trick-or-treating glance up at the moon for me and know I'm wishing you a blessed and happy Samhain!

ICE BOUND - RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT - OCTOBER 31st 2014
David's motorcycle
Soon, very soon, I will publish my last book in the series. The Crescent Bound series, and with the amazing, incredible talent from Inkstain Interior Book Designing we shall have it (hopefully) in our hands this Halloween. Which book you may ask? Ice Bound, the inside look from Marc's point of view of Crescent Bound. Long awaited answers will be revealed, a new depth to Marc that some may not have known about, and where they all end up after seven years. This story was extremely difficult for me to write. During my writing process our oldest son had some major health concerns. We tackled the worst of the storms and I hope everyone can understand my reasons for delaying the release of Ice Bound. Now, for some insight into this particular story...
Naomi
Naomi - the rogue witch will be part of the story but not as prominent as she was in Crescent Bound. My intention wasn't to fully duplicate Crescent Bound, and to truly bring you Marc's story. Besides you've already read Crescent Bound and it unravels everything in it. Yes, there will be magick, the elements, and entirely new scenes in Ice Bound.

Marc
Ready to follow Marc and Alyssa into their witchy magical world one more time?

I'm back (I think) in the world of writing once again. Last month was extremely difficult for our family, our oldest son, Tyler, who is 21, had kidney failure. After a couple of surgeries he's now on dialysis and doing okay. So, to say writing hasn't been my first priority is an understatement. The stories are there, waiting, lurking, and more than ready to be told and I'm going to try my best to capture each one exactly as they should be.
The first is the last, last of the Crescent Bound series, that is. Ice Bound is in the works right now and I enjoy that I can bring out aspects of Marc and Alyssa's lives from his point of view. There are tons of new things that you'll never know unless you read this one. I also have a very small character in Ice Bound that will possibly be spun off into an anthology with some amazing author friends. If the anthology goes well then it could roll out that tale into a mini-series of sorts, (the short story, 9 Lives, that is). I will let you in on that one as things progress. It is a little too soon to get into any details. But by the end of summer I should know more, and then I will bring you into the loop.
Once Ice Bound is complete that will wrap up the Bound series. It will be hard to let them all go, but I have several more that need my attention. The first book in the Veil Realms series was Pine Needles where you were introduced to Selene and her trials and tribulations through a dystopian crisis. Book two in this series is screaming at me to be written. Citeron is the next world the Manunnaki will emerge themselves in. Selene and Sirius will discover an entire race at the edge of their own existence. This new world is in the middle of a war. Once I have the official blurb I will post it, so bear with me, this story is going to challenge me as a writer and hopefully, intrigues you as a reader.
Finally my secret project, Chasing the Madness. I've been working on this one for awhile now, research, research, and more research. This tale has quite a lot of history to it. London, 1888 is when the story will take place. A young woman and her twin brother are time traveling junkies, but as one is transported into the future the other will find herself in the past. A dark and horrifying past. She's swept away by a man in the dark, saving her life from the notorious Jack the Ripper but as things slowly unveil themselves her suspicions start to grow. Who is Jack the Ripper?
